Congratulations to our NJDP elite players, Anis Dylan Sinno and Siti Husna Aina Karim Nast, for their outstanding performance at the prestigious Junior Open held at Kilmarnock, Barassie, Scotland from July 15-18, 2024!

Both players made the cut in the top 40 and ties at this annual event organized by The R&A.

Anis Dylan played with rounds of 81, 80, and an impressive 75, finishing at 25th place with a 20-over-par 236. Siti Husna Aina showed her determination with rounds of 83, 79, and 77, securing a tied 27th place with a 23-over-par 239.

Both Korean players dominated the tournament by claiming the Boy and Girl Category. Lee Hyosong won the Girl Category with scores of 68, 67 and 72 for 9-under-par 207 while An Seonghyeon won the Boy Category with 6-under-par 210 (73, 69, 68).

We are incredibly proud of Anis Dylan and Aina for their hard work, dedication, and exceptional skills on the international stage. Their achievements are a testament to their talent and the bright future of Malaysian golf. Keep soaring high!

The MGA National Junior Development Program (NJDP) is thrilled to partner with EPSOM College to host an exclusive Junior Golf Camp from July 18-20, 2024!

This three-day camp is designed to offer young golfers an exceptional experience, blending high-level training with invaluable life skills. Here's a sneak peek into what participants can look forward to:

Day 1:

Kick-off with an introduction and a tour of the stunning EPSOM College facilities.

Warm-up session followed by an early lunch.

Afternoon on the greens with 18 holes of golf at Kota Sariemas GC.

Wrap up the day with a hearty dinner at EPSOM.

Day 2:

Early morning driving range practice and breakfast.

Another exciting 18 holes of golf at Kota Sariemas GC.

Lunch break followed by the "Champion Traits" seminar.

End the day with a gym session and fun evening activities.

Day 3:

Begin with a warm-up at ECM Driving Range.

Engage in task-based training and performance challenges.

Attend a nutrition seminar to learn about fueling for success.

Conclude with a closing ceremony celebrating the achievements of our junior golfers.

This camp promises a holistic development experience, focusing on enhancing golfing skills, physical fitness, and essential life skills like teamwork and perseverance.

Competition Rules :

1. Those born in or after the year 2006 are eligible to participate. Age of participant based on the year of birth.

2. All participants allowed usage of caddies. Those without caddies must carry their own bag or pull their trolleys.

3. Category A and Category B participants are not permitted to use buggies and must walk throughout the tournament.

4. Category C participants are allowed usage of buggies and driving must be done by an accompanying adult.

5. Players must pick up the ball and move to the next hole once they have shot double par for that hole.

6. All spectators can only walk on the buggy track and must stay off fairways, tees and greens and walk 50 yards in front of the group that they are watching; this way, you won't be causing a delay to the group behind or be in any danger of being hit.

7. Participants are allowed to use a distance-measuring device (DMD) to obtain distance.
